The AQx Aquatic Training Shoe "ATS" is great for general fitness, cross-training, deep water running, rehab and recovery. These revolutionary shoes were designed to make deep-water running feel more like land-based running. Designed based on the principle of "specificity of training"...that the deep water running movement pattern needs to be closely aligned with a land-based running style to maximize the benefit to the runner.
AQx Features: Decreases the amount of pounding generally needed to enhance a runner's performance(s), is an aid to recovery or an adjunct to normal training regimen, used as a method of rehabilitation from a running-related or musculoskeletal injury, enhances range of motion and proper mechanics of land-based running.
AQx Specifications: Constructed of a neoprene upper to provide comfort and be form fitting; big mesh overlays to provide ventilation and aid in the drying process; hydro-dynamic polyurethane fins for correct, subtle plane of motion resistance; super-gripping rubber outsole for awesome traction in and out of the pool; strategically placed drain port on bottom of shoe for added drainage; bungee lace up sytem with locking slider for quick installation and super secure fit; reinforced finger pull loop to slip on shoes easily.
Shoes are meant for a snug fit so we recommend that if you wear a half size then you should round down.

"AQX is the best water shoe, no other shoe compares to the traction with the sole of this shoe; no slippage at all. The scoops on the sides add resistance and also reduces tork on the knees, allowing your feet to track straighter through the water. I highly recommend purchasing two pairs and alternate wearing them to prolong the life of the shoes. I teach water aerobics three times a week plus I'm in the pool for me twice a week and I was able to wear two pairs for 2.5 years. The only thing that wore-out was the attached neoprene sock that snugs the shoe to your foot; there were holes worn through and the elasticity was gone. I soak my shoes in Woolite for colored clothes overnight to get the chlorine out and let them dry in the sink or shower, don't put them in the sun to dry.
